Are your contracts month-to-month?

Yes, our contracts are month-to-month to offer you maximum flexibility. We do offer discounts for longer-term storage periods however.

Do I need to provide my own lock?

You need to provide your own padlock (A full range is sold in our stores), to ensure that you are the sole key holder for your room and to ensure that your room is securely locked at all times.

Do I need to pay a fee each time I access the storage unit?

No. Access is free and unlimited during our long opening hours.

How much does it cost to store my things with you?

The cost of a storage room depends upon the size of room. We suggest that you speak to a member of our staff, to determine the optimum storage for your requirements. A price can then be quoted on the correct size room. At Premiere Self Storage we have rooms ranging from 25 sq. ft to 700 sq. ft+.

What is included in the price?

The price you are quoted by our staff includes your storage charge, rates, service charges, utility bills and maintenance costs.

Do I pay weekly or monthly?

We invoice customers on a monthly basis, payable in advance.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes we offer a range of discounts including:

  • Introductory offers
  • Pre-payment discounts (available on 6 month and 1 year bookings)

  • Student discounts
  • Military discounts

How can I pay for my storage?

We offer a number of payment options including credit card, debit card, cheque and cash.

Do I have to reserve in advance?

Generally, you can fill out a rental agreement and move in on the same day, providing there is space available. However to be guaranteed a room of a specific size on arrival, it is advisable to prebook your space.

What do I need to rent storage space?

We ask that you provide suitable proof of ID, proof of address and a means of payment.

What are your business hours?

Please visit the location page nearest you for their hours of operation.

How do I get my goods to you?

You can bring your goods in your own vehicle, we have ample parking and large loading/unloading areas. Alternatively, you can rent our truck and driver at an hourly rate (at participating locations). The driver will help you pack the goods on the truck. If you need more help, we can help you arrange transport through our sister company, Premiere Van Lines.

What size room do I need?

Our spaces range from 25 to over 700 sq. ft. Give us a call or drop by and we can help determine the exact space that's right for you.

Do I have to give you notice to leave?

We only require fourteen (14) days notice of your intention to vacate your space.

What can I store?

You can store almost anything in our rooms. The only exceptions are:

  • Living items - such as animals & plants
  • Hazardous materials - such as flammable liquids and explosives
  • Items that could decompose - such as exposed foodstuffs
  • Unauthorized or illegal goods - such as firearms etc.

Do you sell boxes and packing materials?

Yes, we sell an extensive range of packing materials from boxes to bubble wrap. Packing materials can be purchased in person from our stores.

Is there someone at the store I can talk to should I have a problem?

There will always be a trained member of staff available during business hours.
